Difference between nodular cast iron anti settlement well cover and ordinary well cover

When we drive to check the manhole cover, we often make a "bang" sound, which is caused by the abnormal noise caused by the settlement and fluctuation of the manhole cover. On the roads of many big cities, or mainly with ordinary cast iron well covers, they are damaged by the basic principle structure of the well cover itself and the addition of processing technology. In addition, if they are rolled by super heavy vehicles for a long time, they tend to move down, crack around the well and other diseases and pests. However, the new anti settlement well cover has a special structure, wider diameter than the ordinary well cover, larger total installation area, and has the advantages of anti settlement, anti-theft, anti loosening, and anti abnormal noise.

1、 The method of bearing force is different.

The bearing capacity method of anti settlement well cover is different from that of old well cover. The pavement and manhole cover are surrounded by soft materials such as asphalt. When a car passes by, the edge plate of the manhole cover will transfer the bearing capacity to the asphalt layer. Because asphalt is a soft raw material, it can transmit the bearing capacity more evenly and reduce the impact on the well cover. At the same time, since both the edge of the manhole cover and the road surface are asphalt raw materials, the manhole cover and the road surface will be reduced together after the vehicle rolls, so as to achieve the actual effect of anti settlement.

Second, mid and late stage maintenance

From the perspective of mid and late maintenance, the maintenance and greening maintenance of the old well cover need to clean the concrete slab, and then pour the concrete again. Since it takes time for concrete to reach the specified compressive strength, it is impossible to resume traffic in a short time. However, the newly removed anti settlement well cover can only restore traffic by re laying the drain around the well. It can reasonably increase the service life of sewage inspection wells, reduce maintenance costs, and greatly improve the traffic safety, integrity and service quality of municipal roads.

Third, different installation operations

In terms of installation method, when the traditional well cover is buried on the pavement, the concrete foundation shall be built nearby first. If the manhole cover is damaged or sunken nearby, the complete manhole cover must be removed and replaced. The project construction and closed maintenance take 7 days, which brings a lot of trouble to urban public transport.

When installing the anti settlement well cover, an iron "jacket" can be buried on the road. After the new well cover is installed, it shall be removed and replaced immediately, poured into it, drained and compacted. After the project construction, the traffic can be opened to the public. The whole process only takes about 2 hours, and no additional maintenance period is required. "Traceless work" has been completed to a large extent, which is very suitable for various new road emergency maintenance projects in large cities.

According to the change of the connection mode between the well cover and the well circle, the nodular cast iron anti settlement well cover will be "placed" on the road surface during the construction of the asphalt project, so that the well circle and the road surface are integrated, thus changing the bearing capacity of the well circle. More than 80% of the driving load will be digested and absorbed by the road surface according to the well circle, rather than being borne by the well chamber alone. When the well circle is integrated with the asphalt layer of the pavement, it will automatically accompany the pavement elevator to keep at the same level with the pavement, so as to prevent problems such as the well circle protruding, the well cover sagging and loosening, so as to reasonably improve the driving performance and comfort.
