What are the reasons for improper installation of ball cast iron manhole covers?

The installation of ductile iron pipes is very important. In the installation process, relevant technical points must be done well, otherwise it is easy to fail to install in place and bring serious hidden dangers to future use. There are four reasons for improper installation of ductile iron pipes:
1. When installing ropes and pulleys, the pulleys on both sides of the pipeline are not easy to be on the center line of the pipeline, so even the force on both sides of the pipeline cannot guarantee its uniform stress. In this case, a steel saddle is made, whose inner diameter is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the pipe, and the hook is welded at the lower end of the pipe centerline. When installing, place the saddle on the bearing end of the pipe.
2. The common lubricant is soapy water, which hardly works in the water tank or under high temperature conditions. Therefore, edible oil with high viscosity should be used as the lubricant.
3. The rubber seal ring is not installed correctly, which causes the rubber ring to be out of place due to large friction.
4. The operation during transportation and hoisting is not standard, which leads to socket out of round and difficult installation. This is rare. For out of round tubes, special tools are required to calibrate the circle. Effective for small head damage, the cutter can cut off the damaged part and hit the slope.
