1、 In order to keep the appearance of the cover beautiful and the surface pattern and writing clear, thin iron sheet or wood plate shall be used to cover the manhole cover during the construction of asphalt pavement, and the black manhole cover can also be brushed with waste oil to prevent asphalt spraying on the manhole cover
2、 For brick masonry of well cover, its inner diameter or length X width and square circle shall be determined according to the size of the well cover designed by the design institute, which can also be implemented according to the corresponding standards, and a concrete protective ring with a width of 40cm shall be cast around the well cover, and the maintenance period shall be more than 10 days
3、 When installing well covers on asphalt pavement, attention must be paid to avoiding direct compaction of well seats by construction machinery. When the pavement is cast as a whole, holes slightly larger than the well seats should be reserved on the pavement and placed after asphalt pavement
4、 After the well seat is poured with concrete or paved with asphalt, the well cover shall be opened and cleaned in time to avoid mortar or asphalt pouring the inspection well cover and the seat together, so as not to affect the future opening
The following four steps should be followed when installing the composite well cover:
1. Before installation, the well cover foundation shall be neat and firm, and the inner diameter, length and width shall be determined according to the size of the well cover.
2. When installing the composite well cover on the cement pavement, it should be noted that the masonry at the wellhead should be poured with concrete, and a concrete protective ring should be built around the periphery for maintenance for about 10 days.
3. When installing composite well covers on asphalt pavement, attention shall be paid to avoiding direct rolling of well covers and well seats by construction machinery to avoid damage.
4. In order to keep the well cover beautiful and the writing and pattern clear, pay attention not to dirty the well cover when pouring asphalt and cement on the pavement.
